Double Take: Red Bedroom

I have been completely enamored with this red bedroom designed by Cathy Kincaid since I spotted it on Everything LEB...

(Anyone know original source for this photo?)

Jaw-dropping, right? That bed and the room's buoyant pattern mixed with celadon greens...just wonderful. And then I saw the same space totally zhushed up on Cathy's website:

Tailored and classic goes totally boho chic here, but with the same foundational elements...and I like it too.

Here's another shot of the 2nd arrangment:

I think I have a preference...but which do you prefer??

I like the simplicity of the first photo. I love the red edging on the shams and bedspread! The second one looks a little busy to me.

Both....the clean crisp version for spring and summer and add the bohoed patterned version for fall and winter. All the white seems warmer with the pillows etc. for cooler months.
