The range of greens with touches of gray is oh-so fresh and I always love my classic Chinoiserie patterns. This one is a winner, folks!

Scalamandre Shantung Garden
Change of season usually brings new fabrics and I am particularly happy about Scalamandre's Spring 2016 fabric, Shantung Garden, in the Verdance colorway.

Easter Joy
Our Easter was joyous. The day was beautiful allowing a pause for spiritual reflection and quality time with family. And we had baskets, bonnets and so much candy.
My table was a bit last minute so it wasn't as layered as usual, but I did get some close-ups to show you the bright combination I settled on - Scalamandre's China Rose with Caspari's Garden Follies:
The kids donned their first set of matching smocked outfits and let me tell you, my heart was full:
Ana Claire's Easter bonnet (from here) was just about the most precious thing I've ever laid eyes on. My phone blew up with all the pictures I took yesterday. Indulge me for a moment:
Holidays around here are ramping up in their excitement as Ana Claire gets older. She is just a joy to watch getting excited over special celebrations (and stuffing whole chocolates into her mouth like her father). And having Mac on hand to celebrate his first holiday doubled the fun. These kids...what a gift.

Friday Crush
Grooms-to-be, take note. This is just about the coolest groomsmen's gift out there. A pair of double old fashioned glasses with Scalamandre's iconic zebra. Even if you are not a groom, wedding season is quickly approaching so you're welcome for a great wedding gift idea. I don't know a bride who wouldn't want these fashionable items gracing her bar!
The sun has made an appearance this week and I know one two-year-old who is thrilled to be back on the playground scene. Hope it's warming up near you. Have a fantastic weekend...see you next week!

Caspari + Scalamandre Zebras
Scalamandre's iconic zebras for your table via Caspari.
Just take a minute to let that sink in.
Scalamandre's zebras literally know no bounds...they might run for President one day. And for good reason...we can't get their prancing out of our heads. And this collaboration with Caspari is just SUCH a good idea.
That last one is a placemat. Yes, that's correct. Just ready to be layered with your everyday white china on a daily basis.
The line has napkins and such in the obvious red, gorgeous gold, and snappy orange. And the plates are an actual zebra print, leaving our whimsical Scalamandre pattern for the accents. I will not judge you if you buy the napkins and frame them.
I know we realize how good this is, so just go buy some - click here.

Scalamandre Jambalaya
Are you ready for a killer stripe fabric? Killer and colorful and elegant and so many more awesome things.
Scalamandre's Jambalaya (get ready for a roller coaster ride of color):
Yowza! This stuff is gorgeous. And the fabric's texture is polished and crisp (kinda feels like silk). Why am I so enthusiastic? Other than just being a fabric nut? I just made pillows in the blue colorway (second to last) and they are completely and totally lovely. I can't stop staring at them.
And these color combos are unique, don't you think? So many colors in each fabric but they work together so beautifully to create a unified palette.
Which is your favorite? See them all here...

Scalamandre Wallpaper: Pechen Des Perles
There is not enough time in my sweet, short life to experience all of the fabrics and wallpapers that I come across. I fall in love hard and fast. And I never tire of a new crush, which right now happens to be Pechen de Perles by Scalamandre:
And you guys...here is the best part...it has matching fabric!!! Rejoice.
There is little that thrills me more than a Chinoiserie silhouette. I love a bold color with an intricate solid-colored print, preferably in white on a colored ground. It makes me so happy and the scenery of Pechen des Perles is just bananas with palm tress and pagodas galore.
Hmmm...so what if you took that kiwi colorway at the top and mixed it with pink in a bedroom? I knoooowwwwww...so good.
Have you seen this used anywhere? I want more pictures!
