Ginger Brewton Interiors

I'm sure I've come across the work of Charleston-based designer Ginger Brewton many times but I recently focused in on her talent when a press release from Coastal Living caught my eye. The magazine's next showhouse will be on Daniel Island in South Carolina. The island is right outside of Charleston and home to my sister-in-law, her husband and my nephews.

From the location alone, I'm sure the house will be a stunner but once I looked over Ginger's portfolio...well, I can't wait to see the finished product. Take a look at this home she designed on Kiawah Island:

You gasped at the first photo, right? An antique mint green settee paired with modern raspberry red trellis paper...and the buttons on the settee pick up the red in the wall. Gorgeous. And don't you want to see what fabulous bird is depicted in that print?

Check out more of Ginger's work here...and stay tuned to Coastal Living for a reveal of the showhouse in its October issue. If you are in South Carolina, the showhouse starts tours at the end of June.
