Cottage Living

I'm kicking off the week with some gorgeous pictures from my weekend. I was once again in Charlottesville, Va. and had the pleasure of staying with friends at this charming cottage that they are currently renting just outside of Charlottesville.

The cottage is just as charming on the inside and the surrounding land and views are incredibly breathtaking. Carter and I seriously considered a move to the area...and we're still thinking about it! We fell in love all over again with the Blue Ride Mountains of Virginia.

Have a great start to your week!

The "main" house on the property

Just one of the many, many gorgeous views. Once the leaves start turning, this view will be awash with gorgeous fall color.

Sigh...

  1. Yay ! Glad you had a wonderful weekend in the Mts. The Shen Valley has been my parents home for 14 years and it's always so very easy to come home ! C'ville is a fab city !!

  2. What a beautiful spot. I went to W&L and always feel the pull when I head back to the mountains. Esp. as fall approaches!

  3. There's a joke here that you aren't officially a Charlottesvillian until you rent a little cottage on the grounds of someone's estate. There are a few other items (like working for Coran Capshaw in some capacity), but you're well on your way with the stay at that cute cottage!
