How do you feel about black fabrics? I absolutely love them, but have never used one in my own home. This one - Richloom Tasha Platinum Collection Printed Linen Blend Drapery Fabric in Licorice - is particularly gorgeous. I love the the shade of dusty blue paired with reds, greens and mustard. Would be stunning on a pair of upholstered arm chairs in a den or library. It's a really high-end-looking fabric but it's only $11.95/yd - a steal!

I loved black fabrics. I inherited two wing chairs from my MIL that are covered in a black/floral tapestry (almost 50 years old and still looks great). I'm using Thibaut's Tea House in the black colorway in my new library/dining room. And, I upholstered a small sitting room in Empire black stripe (matte/shiny).
