In my never-ending quest to obsess over china that will look stunning in my lavender-and-green-hued dining room, I chanced upon this pattern. And my obsession has hit new levels.
Belle Epoche by Nymphenburg. The plates are kinda scary, but I love that. These would be total showstoppers on my table.
And don't worry - the dessert plate is only $2,698, so I will definitely be getting a couple.

Those are awesome. Maybe you can sell a kidney for the soup tureen.
ReplyDeleteWow, cannot even fathom buying one of those!

Absolutely stunning! I'll take one of each please.
ReplyDeleteI don't believe I have ever seen a china service that moved me more. Too bad it is so expensive. Frankly, I cannot fathom any reason why it needs to cost so much, regardless of the difficulty of the hand painting. Maybe they'll do a line for Target, which would sell out in two days, and thereafter be offered on eBay, as happened with John Derian and Calypso!
